IT’s focus must become more functional and less technical. Our value will be realized as we solve business problems, not just by implement technology. While this is not a profound statement and is obvious, the next question is, “What are we doing to change our internal culture and to develop our IT personnel?” Are we being intentional about this development or are we just hoping it will happen over time?
